The I Tip extensions are attached to the hair using micro rings. The micro rings have an inner tube made of silicone, to cushion the client’s hair and reduce compression damage to the hair.
How to install I tip Hair Extensions?
This method of application requires you to have Zen Hair's Loop tool and Pliers.
To apply the micro I tip hair extensions:
- Pull an equal amount of hair using the loop tool through the micro ring.
- Place one piece of Zen Hair's I-tip hair extension in the micro ring, making sure that the micro ring and the hair extension is close enough to the scalp, but not too close to avoid discomfort and hair damage.
- Using Zen Hair's Pliers, compress the micro ring around the hair extensions to secure it.
- Repeat process until the desired style and look is achieved.
This method takes approximately 1.5 to 3 hours to install a full head of hair extensions, depending on the client's desired look and hair density.
